I'm am entering my last year of high school very soon, but now I'm worried about what I will do when it's over. I know I want to go to university, but everyone is pressuring me to make decisions about what I want to do there. I really don't know. How can I make the right decision? Can you help me? I am interested in traveling, English and history and I think I am quite bright. But what will be right for me?

For many students it's hard to decide what to study in college or university. The best thing to do is to talk to your counselor and perhaps a couple of favorite teachers that know you. They will help you choose subjects that are necessary for a degree in what ever you choose. As you go through your first year and meet others and learn about what is available, the counselors will help you decide what you are best suited for and you will have a better idea of what you want to pursue.

The first year is hard enough to adjust without pressure from family and friends to choose a life career while still trying to finish high school.
