I have become extremely attracted to the manager/fitness trainer at the gym I belong to. I think he feels the same way but I am not certain. I frequently take my 2-year-old daughter to the gym with me as a babysitting room is provided, so us moms can work out. I notice that whenever I am standing around with my daughter, Mr. Wonderful works his way over and begins to chat/play with my daughter. My senses tell me he is trying to strike up a conversation with me. Well, it worked as he agreed to become my personal trainer for a slightly reduced rate in late September. My secret wish is that when he does train me, we will become romantically involved. The problem is, I am a little worried about this because he values his position at the gym. I do not want to make him feel uncomfortable by flirting with him too much if really doesn't feel the same. Do you think I am reading into his actions too much or is it possible he is waiting to "train" me to make his move? Hope to hear some advice from you soon, cause I do not want to make a fool of myself. I see this guy almost every day and it would be embarrassing for me if he really wasn't interested. Thanks!

Being a successful businessperson is a lot like being a successful politician.

If "Mr. Wonderful" had not paid a little special attention to you and your daughter, you probably would not have signed up to have him as your personal trainer.

My suggestion is that you keep your secret wishes to yourself and concentrate on health and fitness.

Personal trainers are expensive and to do a good job they must show that they care about you and your fitness goals. Making you feel good about yourself and helping you attain your goals are all part of it.

Fantasizing about a romantic involvement with him is not uncommon at all. I am sure that you are not the only female client that feels that way.

You paid a lot of money even at a reduced rate, so focus on fitness and if he has any other ideas about a possible romantic involvement, he will let you know.
