You did the right thing by turning him in. He may be a good paramedic but he is not very professional. I have been in the EMS and fire service for 15 years both volunteer and paid, and I can tell you if its happened to you, its more than likely been done to someone else. Believe me, I've seen this happen. I would do anything to protect my partner and this includes protecting their right to privacy and self worth. You need to protect yourself and think of your family. If this clown looses everything then that's his problem not yours. He should have considered the consequences of his actions. From one professional to another, you did the right thing so don't punish yourself.
