from deep within your heart,

you hold on in the hopes that your dreams will come alive,

that you won't come up short.

First you must imagine your goals,

chart them out - prepare to set sail.

Examine deeply into your inner soul

without the use of a measuring scale.

Wishes and dreams do come true.

They won't appear all at once,

but they will come.

Just try to be patient and have confidence.

All we all want is to be happy and free...

It is not easy for everyone,

we just hope we can pay the fee.

We don't want our dreams undone.

Our wishes and dreams are for simple things -

For some, the simple things come quite naturally.

We are not asking for the golden ring,

we simply want to live happily.

I believe in wishes and dreams -

If one works at making them come true,

all will fall into place it seems,

and do what we can do!

I pray each night that my prayers will be answered,

I ask God for devine intervention.

Never asking for a quick fix or cure,

just to have some of our wishes and dreams to make a connection!
